I am a lifetime resident of beautiful Kootenay country. Photography became my passion fifteen years ago when I retired from Selkirk College in Castlegar.

The people I meet and the nature that I am inspired by sparks my imagination, and my intention is to show my heart and the beauty of our world through my images. Small towns I visit have a story to tell, and through my photos I can tell that story. Amazing light inspires me and rekindles my natural spirit, and I find peace capturing these fleeting moments in time.

I enjoy taking images that show people's candid moments in their natural environment. And my deep respect for the wonder and beauty of nature brings me out into our world often.

I've traveled to faraway lands and captured many images. But some of my favourite photos I've taken are in our spectacular Kootenay Country.

My photography is my voice. This is me and this is what I have to say. And a picture really does equal many words. My hope is that people will understand what I am saying, and find joy in the experience of seeing as I do.
